Lessons for the GCSE poems: Bayonet Charge, War Photographer, Exposure and Ozymandias. Lessons include the poems context, annotations on the poems, language/structure/meaning/context challenge questions and a language analysis task on each poem. Differentiated using aim/challenge/super challenge and the GCSE mark scheme.

6 x lessons developing students persuasive writing skills using interesting and current topics including the banned Iceland ‘Rang-Tan’ advert, Gun law and Violent video games. All lessons created using the TEEP model. All differentiated using the GCSE mark scheme.

4 x Christmas themed lessons aimed at KS3 and KS4. 2 lessons are based on descriptive writing - one involving writing a description of a Christmas market and one lesson using the ‘show don’t tell’ techniques to write a description of the Snowman coming to life. 2 lessons are on persuasive writing using the Rang-tan advert and the Band Aid Christmas song ‘Do they know it’s Christmas time?’ All lessons differentiated using the GCSE mark scheme and aim/challenge/super challenge.
